Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Expert with 3-5 years of proven experience in developing and managing email marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is well-versed in email marketing tools like Klaviyo, MailChimp, and other industry-standard platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of email strategy, segmentation, automation workflows, and analytics to drive customer engagement and optimize campaign performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Develop, execute, and manage end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including promotional and engagement-based emails, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Tool Proficiency: Leverage tools like Klaviyo, MailChimp, and other relevant platforms to maximize email performance, ensure deliverability, and monitor email effectiveness.
- Automation & Workflow Setup: Design and implement automated email workflows, such as welcome sequences, abandoned cart follow-ups, re-engagement campaigns, and other lifecycle email series to optimize customer journey and retention.
- Audience Segmentation: Develop detailed audience segments based on customer behavior, preferences, and demographics to target messages more effectively and increase personalization.
- Content Development: Collaborate with the content and design teams to create compelling email content, including subject lines, email copy, and visual elements that engage and convert.
- A/B Testing: Conduct regular A/B testing on subject lines, email content, send times, and other factors to improve campaign performance and optimize open and click-through rates.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key email performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion rates, etc.) and use insights to inform future campaigns and strategies.
- Deliverability & Compliance: Ensure high deliverability by adhering to email best practices, staying updated on industry standards, and ensuring compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other regulations.
- Continuous Optimization: Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends, tools, and best practices. Provide recommendations for improvement and implement new strategies to boost engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, with hands-on experience in tools like Klaviyo, MailChimp, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing strategies, customer segmentation, and automation workflows.
- Experience with HTML/CSS for email design is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in e-commerce or consumer-focused industries.
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles for email creatives.
